Sponsoring The Association of Internet Researchers: Post-API

Screenlake is proud to sponsor the "Post-API" post-conference this year.

The Association of Internet Researchers' annual meeting is happening in Philadelphia, including the aptly-named "Post-API" conference. Co-organized by Professor Jo Lukito of UT Austin, this day-long summit brings together the top minds in behavioral analytics to discuss the topic of the year: where does public opinion data come from in a world without easy API access?

Screenlake was founded in part to fill-in the void left by API gatekeeping in the wake of over-use by AI model training. In years past, researchers across academia and industry could rely on data streams from X, Reddit, Meta, and more to fulfil analytics and business objectives. Elon Musk famously throttled this option at X, and other companies followed suit in a bid to protect their content assets.

As Screenlake's customers know, Screenlake's proprietary data & insights engine doesn't rely on any third parties or APIs. Internet researchers can benefit from our clear-eyed cross-platform view of content consumption. Our presence among academics continues to be a source of pride, and a source of validation of our approach: when it comes to data, academics are the early adopters.
